Four to Be Inducted into the Housing Hall of Fame
The Board of Governors for the Home Builders Association of Illinois Housing Hall of Fame have elected four new members to the Hall of Fame.
Ed Brady, Kevin Chaffin, Dean Graven, and Mike Nagel, will be honored for their years of service to the State Association and to the Illinois Housing Industry at the HBAI Installation Banquet to be held on December 1, 2017, at the Mistwood Golf Course Clubhouse in Romeoville, Illinois.
Ed Brady is President of Brady Homes of Bloomington, Illinois. He served as President of HBAI in 2002, Chairman of the Board for NAHB in 2016, and has been a board member at HBAI since the mid-1990s.
Kevin Chaffin is President of Riverview Builders, Inc., in Homer Glen, Illinois. He served as President of HBAI in 2014, and is currently serving as State Representative to NAHB, and President of Southwest Suburban HBA.
Dean Graven is Director of Operations for Safeguard General Contracting in Springfield, Illinois. He served as President of HBAI in 2016, and is a Past President of the Springfield Area HBA.
Mike Nagel is Co-Owner of MAW Chicago, located in Palatine, Illinois. He served as President of HBAI in 2011, State Representative to NAHB in 2014-15, and is currently the National Area Chair for Area 9 at NAHB.
There is much more to say about all four builders, and it will be stated at the HBAI Installation Banquet on December 1, 2017, at the Mistwood Golf Course in Romeoville. Their induction will be in conjunction with the installation of the HBAI Senior Officers and the installation of the Senior Officers and Board Members of the Southwest Suburban HBA.
Patrick Franz, President of Clairmont, LTD., in Hinsdale, Illinois, will be installed as the 2018 President of HBAI. Henry Coyle will be installed as the 2018 President of SSHBA.
